PRESS: Tinkoff Mobile starts reg expansion via MTS facilities

MOSCOW, May 26 (PRIME) -- Tinkoff Mobile, Tinkoff Bank’s mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), working on infrastructure of Russian mobile operator T2 RTK Holding, working under brand Tele2, is entering new regions in partnership with mobile operator MTS, business daily Kommersant reported on Friday.

A Tinkoff Mobile representative told the daily that it starts a regional expansion in teamwork with MTS. It is entering the republic of Bashkortostan and the Stavropol Region and will appear in all the regions of the country by the end of 2023. Tinkoff Mobile will work on MTS’ infrastructure in the new regions.

MTS will equip Tinkoff Mobile with the needed infrastructure for work in 17 regions of the country.

Tinkoff Mobile said that the shared use of infrastructure is “only the first step”.
